For the second year in a row, WOW!, which provides internet, cable TV and phone service in and around the Evansville area, has been named one of the Best Places to Work in Indiana by Best Companies Group, the Indiana Chamber of Commerce, BizVoice, Inside Indiana Business, and the Indiana Economic Development Corporation.
The top companies are chosen based on employer reports about workplace practices and policies, combined with comprehensive employee survey results. While completing the survey is optional for employees, over 90% of WOW! employees participated in the survey.
The designation recognizes Indiana employers who create an environment in which employees feel valued and therefore are part of a workplace structure that's positive and productive for their business and the community. WOW! employs nearly 150 people in the Evansville region.
"Our team members work hard every day to create a WOW! experience for each other and our customers. It's an honor to have the Chamber recognize this hard work for two straight years," commented Robert DiNardo, VP/general manager of WOW!'s Evansville market.
WOW! will be recognized and honored at the 2012 Best Places to Work in Indiana Awards Dinner coordinated by the Indiana Chamber of Commerce on Thursday, May 3rd.
